The greatest wines of the Châteaux of Bordeaux presented on the beach!
Heritage Le Telfair will have the honour of hosting the Club Salin of classified Grands Crus of Bordeaux, for the 2nd time, during their tour of Mauritius from 22 to 26 October 2011. Gala Evening on 24 October 2011
The gala evening that will inaugurate this culinary week will take place in the Ginj'a restaurant on the beach at the Heritage Le Telfair. The event will begin with a tasting of classified Grands Crus from the left and right banks of the Bordeaux vineyards, orchestrated by the owners of the vineyards themselves.
Eight prestigious owners will be represented: Château Chauvin, Château Malartic Lagravière, Château Malescot St Exupéry, Bernard Magrez owner of Grands Vignobles, Château Lafon Rochet St Estèphe, Château Côte de Baleau, Château Picque Caillou, Axa Millésimes, as well as the wine merchant M. Salin.
The Executive Chef of the Heritage Le Telfair, Enrico Rodatti and sommelier Olivier Gastal-Pinach, have together devised a gourmet meal of great food and wine. The evening is open to a limited number of fifty epicureans, Mauritians and guests of Heritage Resorts. The evening promises to be rich in flavour, in encounters with friends and in memories!
A second special event will be held on 25 October 2011 for the Association 'Cuisine et Vins'. (Cuisine and Wine Association)
The event has been organized by Scott Consumer - thewinestore.mu and fits in with the philosophy of Heritage Resorts, the up-market hotel brand of VLH, to offer its customers a range of authentic emotions and refined culinary experiences.
